Miso Cumin Hummus


  • 1 14.5 oz. can Garbanzo Beans or cooked Soybeans [about 1 ½ cups] with the water reserved
  • 3 Tbsp. Lemon Juice (from one large lemon)
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Miso
  • 3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. ground Cumin
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding the reserved bean liquid or water to obtain desired consistency.
