Shumei International is a non-profit organization based in Japan and is part of a family of Shumei organizations. In developing nations, it has been training farmers in the principles and practices of Shumei Natural Agriculture as founded by Mokichi Okada in the early 20th century. Currently there are on-going Shumei International projects in Zambia, the Philippines, Brazil, Nepal, Madagascar, and Tanzania.
